Adventures of Evie

  Today was our final day of Weather Week and we wrapped it up by talking about rainforests and playing some fun games. We made this rain stick awhile back and we made some fun sounds with it before topping it with a bunch of poms and seeing who could get the most off before it toppled. We talked a lot about how weather really affects the planets and especially animals who find it harder to adapt than humans.  Fridays are typically our library days but this week was homecoming for her cousins so instead of hitting the library we headed up to their house to help them paint their nails. After I finished Katelyn's nails she did Evie's nails to match while I worked on Emily's. They came out really cute and sparkly and she loved matching! We had a really busy Friday running around finishing up some errands (like groceries!) ahead of a full weekend. It was a hectic but really fun day! 

  Today was family night again. This week we decided to have a mini girls night and we polished our nails. Evie LOVES to do her nails and it was fun to include her cousins in the fun too. We used a little kit from Zoya to do soaks, scrubs, and masks and then we did some fun polish and art. :) These kits are fun to use for pedicures too and they make cleaning up really easy, even with a toddler. After we added our art we had dinner and wrapped up at the park like always. We always look forward to family nights. :)
